Here is my impression of today's AIDS walk:
Skate skate skate skate... "OH CRAP! DIRT!"... t-stop... t-stop... T-STOP... walking on toe stops.... skate... skate... skate... "OH GOD ANOTHER HILL"... plough stop... "OH CRAP MORE DIRT AT THE BOTTOM!!"... frantic plough stop... thigh-burning plough stop.... skate skate skate...
(repeat for six miles)
We had a great time, though. My favorite stretch was the underpass where we got to go down a very steep slope at full speed with two motorcycle cops leading the way.

I can't believe I fucked up and overslept. That underpass is the greatest. Slaloming the whole way... And then that part where you get off Comm Ave to whatever the side street through Brookline is--all of a sudden you start to care about how much of your property taxes are going toward fixing potholes. Brookline has some nice roads for us quad skating types.
